Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

TANF, known as Cash Assistance (CA) in Arizona, provides temporary, monthly cash assistance to families to help meet basic needs. Assistance is provided to families with a child under the age of 18 with an income under set limits. Children under age 18 must be a full time student in high school or a vocational program that they are expected to complete before turning 19. See des.az.gov/ca for more information.
